MY S19 SHERATON

EDISON DIAMOND DISC PHONOGRAPH

I purchased this quartersawn oak cabinet machine from Mr. John Ladd in July of 2005. It is a very welcome addition to my collection, as it plays great with a very strong motor (even though it is a single spring machine). I use this machine primarily for playing 78's, and my C19 for playing diamond discs. Having two machines that can play both formats provides excellent backup.

The picture below shows the Sheraton set up to play regular 78's.

Little brother with big brother. My two Edison Disc phonographs: the Sheraton beside the Chipppendale C19.

Both machines ready to play Edison Diamond Discs.

An excellent drawing by my nephew Gabe, a fellow fan of Thomas Edison!
